"Jules" played by actor Samuel L. Jackson from the very popular cult classic movie Pulp Fiction. I wanted to capture this iconic POP culture image from the movie on canvas using rich and bold oil paint. Red and yellow sunbursts draw the eye to the subject as well as capture the colors used in the title of 'Pulp Fiction' and many a 'pulp novel' from the 50's.
