'When I Grow Up...' is meant to evoke the feeling or thought that everyone of us had as a child, that anything is possible and when I grow up I was to be… Even as adults we continue to hold onto our inner child and all the dreams and aspirations. I wanted this painting to reflect that. Is the child in the painting a little boy, a little girl, a woman? It is up to the viewer to decide.
